ANIMAL AUGUST
We weren't bored in July either, the Zoo was once again filled with laughter, games and lots of fun during the Snake Weekend and the Night Opening.
There is no need to worry if you accidentally missed it, there will be no shortage of interesting programs in August too. We celebrate International Wolf Day and, due to the great interest, repeat the Open Night.
August 13th is the International Wolf Day and since we undeniably fell in love with these wonderful animals. We dedicate an entire weekend to them, so August 17-18. it will be the Wolves' Weekend at the Mecske Zoo.
During the weekend, the focus will be on the wolves and especially the 5 specimens that live with us, you can find out a lot of information about them, we are also preparing wolf and fox feedings, and the part of the visitor pathway that leads to the wolves' enclosure will be completed, so our wolves will be visible up close.
On August 24th, there will once again be an opportunity to take a night walk in the zoo, because due to the great interest, we are repeating one of our favorite events, the Night Opening.
If you missed it in July or liked the life at the zoo after sunset so much that you would like to join again, you can do it again now! Come and take a look at the nocturnal life of the animals, take part in the feedings, scan the sky with a bat detector or be part of the nocturnal butterfly ambush!
We can't wait! Join us too!
